Analysis

The main storyline relates to how CLASS:y's Characters became CLASS:y (in the music video), and how My Teenage Girl was formed.

CLASS:y gets notified on their phone or sees a poster advertised about an upcoming survival show who is looking for auditions for a Global Girl group project called My Teenage Girl. The audition date was the date that the Tick Tick Boom music video was released, October 26, 2022.

When the song starts, Boeun walks out of the room 504, which, 504 can be related to 504 Gateway Timeout which means "did not get a response in time from the upstream server that it needed in order to complete the request." However, 504 also can mean "guardian angels that the effort you are putting in today is the light of tomorrow" meaning, if you focus today then the right thing will come tomorrow.

During the middle of the music video, Jimin and Hyeju are seen doing a dance battle, which relates to the final episode mission of My Teenage Girl. Where the Debut team and the Non-Debut team were competing against each other. With Hyeju being part of the Debut Team, performing Sonic Boom and Dreaming, whereas Jimin was in the Non-Debut team performing Lions and Sun. In the music video, Team B wins (which is the Debut Team in real life). In the music video, Seonyou, Boeun (Grade 1) VS Chaewon, Hyungseo (Grade 4) are also seen, but this doesn't relate to My Teenage Girl, as during the Grade Battle, it was Grade 1 VS Grade 2, and Grade 3 VS Grade 4.

The common concept of phones and taking photos makes a return in this music video, with the audience taking videos of Chaewon during the Dance battle scene.

Towards the end of the song, CLASS:y comes together for the first time in the music video to dance together, showing the completion of the CLASS:y and Hyeju has a solo dance break which could show that she was a center for the signal song, (the other being Riwon).

CLASS:y's photos appear with their names, which represents music shows and their next week previews.

At the end of the music video, it shows that it was just a dream but all 7 CLASS:y members were dreaming the same dream of being members of CLASS:y.

• Chaewon - A basketball player who wanted to start a new dream but was afraid of starting.
• Hyeju - A lonely dancer who has a dream but doesn't regret her dream even if she is tired.
• Riwon - A girl who always practiced singing in her dads car, who supports her dream
• Jimin - A contemporary dancer who doesn't think contemporary dancing is for her anymore.
• Boeun - A student who wants to become an idol, but doesn't know how to tell her strict parents.
• Seonyou - Seonyou wants to take the idol career path, whereas her classmates are taking the Academic career path.
